Understanding Your BMI Results

BMI is a screening tool that estimates body fat based on height and weight. While widely used, it has limitations: it doesn't distinguish between muscle and fat mass, and may not be accurate for athletes, elderly, or certain ethnic groups.

Understanding Additional Metrics

Ponderal Index: Also called Corpulence Index, calculated as weight/(height³). More sensitive to height differences than BMI. Normal range: 11-14 kg/m³.
